I currently live in the smallest 1-1 bedroom apartment. Why did I choose to live here' The leasing girl, Dawn, was totally awesome! She was so nice and helpful and always seemed concerned about the residents.

The rent is cheap, the location is good, but you go into these apartments knowing that they are older (built in '82). I haven't had any problems with the leasing staff or with maintenance. In fact, the maintenance people are really nice; they fix your stuff within 24 hours if you put a request in. Parking is always ample, and it's a relatively quiet community. If you want a good location at a good price, Balcones wood is a good bet.
