Good Place, getting better, but perhaps a bit overpriced

I am about to be moving out of here after a year lease... would have stayed if 1) personal circumstances would have been different & 2) the rent here were cheaper. The complex has been quiet, the location is really good, and the neighborhood behind us is great for jogging. I've found the management to all be friendly and responsive... and it seems that they have had a big turnover lately- new people seem friendly and ready to help. I have been living in a remodeled unit: Good) new appliances, fixtures, paint, flooring. Bad) These apartments were built in the late 70s/early 80s and it still shows. Also on the bad side, before I got a washer & dryer the dryers in the laundry room stopped working ... and never got fixed. They may still be broken (several months later). I don't know what I would have done had I not gotten my washer & dryer when I did. The landscaping has been good and well-maintained (important to me), but lots of the residents don't pick up after their pets (despite stocked pet-stations all over the place... can't blame management for this one). Overall, not a bad place.
