10. You love ants and rodents so much that you would like to share your apartment with them.

9. You prefer to have your view of the greenbelt littered with trash.

8. You feel that dog poop is a good natural fertilizer and you don??t mind stepping in it every 3 feet on your way to the mailbox or gym.

7. Speaking of the gym, you always feel better about working out when you get to use old, broken equipment that looks like it??s never been cleaned.

6. You don??t know anybody who uses a wheelchair, or if you do, they know how to pop a wheely and hop the curb to get to your apartment, because there are 2 wheelchair ramps in the whole place.

5. You enjoy seeing the leasing agents looking skanktastic, with their bras hanging out of their shirts and prison tattoos on their wrists.

4. You can fix any maintenance problem on your own, thus avoiding the 3 day waiting period (because somebody forgot to turn in your work order) to get your toilet fixed.

3. You??ve always wanted to pay mean women $750/mo to treat you like ----.

2. You appreciate shoddy handywork that includes: sinks that have been painted rather than cleaned, so when you try to clean them, the paint peels off, revealing the dirt underneath, adhesive backed tiles layered over old dirty linoleum in your laundry room, leaks that have soaked through the wall and merely been painted over, rather than fixed.

1. You??ve always wanted to be able to hear everything that your upstairs and next door neighbors do, including: when they take a shower, what they are watching on tv, when they walk down the hallway, and most importantly, what they do in the bedroom.

Cheap shots go well with cheap people. And I highly doubt a major business, like the one that owns Barton Creek, would hire women that have been to prison. Oh but it was wonderful to read your judgements on innocent, nice people (who by the way are single hard-working moms). Next time you wanna throw an insult out, be more creative. "Skanktastic" is something an 8th grader would say. No wonder your jealous, you have the education of a middle schooler. Good luck being a bitter, jealous, person in life. I'm sure you have lots of friends ; )

Again another review I agree with. Even though as rararoo has said you did use some mean insults, most of 1-10 I agree with and have had the same problem. This review is a few years old and now that it is the beginning of 2008, the apartment management is probably different ( I know they often switch out with other apartment complexes that are owned by the same company). The management currently working at the complex are all fairly nice and polite. I have only encountered one particular person who would be better suited in a less professional atmosphere as she always were the same long horns sports t-shirt and wasn't always the most pleasant thing. But bottom line and I think the biggest complaint is that this place is not run properly or kept up with. The complex is getting older and some apartments need to be gutted out more than just merely covering up water damaged walls with a dab of paint and leaky pipes that have been neglected for some time. I'm pretty sure I have mold growing in my apartment because of this. The design of the complex was not planned or well thought out at all. Moving in is simply a breeze as long as you possess the agility, strength and acrobatic skill as Spiderman. The moving in process to my own apartment was horrible. I felt like I was on an obstacle course, due climbing up stairs, walking down tiny bridges and hallways past huge spider webs that have not been taken care of and then down some more stairs to finally arrive at my apartment. On top of all of that since there is not enough parking space to accommodate everyone, they let people park in front of the entryway to the hallways of many apartments, try moving your couch in between cars.
