Horrible Place--Avoid It!

This apartment complex has been a nightmare since day one. On my move-in day I arrived and the staff informed me that I couldn't move into my apartment because they hadn't checked it after the last tenants and they needed to install all new carpet. They gave me a key and said I could store my things in a vacant apartment. There was no door on the apartment because they were switching the doors and windows out for "remodeling." I was frustrated and went to the office where I was told that they should have the door on within an hour. I came back a few hours later and was told that they weren't sure if the apartment was finished but that I should go look (instead of them going to look). I got to move my things in over 6 hours after arriving.
Additionally, they "forgot" to tell me about the move-in promotion that I was supposed to get to have 3 free hours of moving assistance by a moving company.
The first Monday that I was there they started construction on my building. Within a week and a half they had found faulty wiring and, without notice before I left at 7 in the morning, turned off the power for "up to 5 or more hours." My dog could have had a heat stroke or died. Next, they hit a water line and there was no water pressure. They still haven't fixed the water problem and just posted a notice that they would be turning off the water for 2 hours tomorrow to try and fix it. There's barely any parking because all of the construction materials are taking up the parking spaces.
The original construction of the building is a nightmare. Nothing is even or parallel. There is more than a 1 inch gap between the bathroom door and the ceiling. The peak through in the kitchen only works if someone is sitting in the dining room and the person in the kitchen is standing (and at that it slopes down into a V). Windows aren't the same width at the top/bottom or on each side. The place has been painted over more than 3 times so the doors stick from all of the layers of paint.
There were problems when my apartment (ants and centipedes overrunning the bathroom and a bedroom etc). I was promised that people would come out on a specific date and that I needed to put my dog into the smallest room in my house for the day while I was at work. The people didn't show up until 3 days after the day they were supposed to come. Without notice so that I could contain my dog so she wouldn't run out the door, they entered. Though perfectly legal, it's completely unprofessional. My dog was incredibly upset when I got home and it's only the end of week 2. I'm seriously considering trying to terminate my lease.
