Don?t be fooled by this place being next to Zilker Park. This is by far the worst apartment I have ever lived in! I was ready to move out after only six weeks. I had continuous problems with this apartment just about every week I was there. This is a 25 years old apartment with continuous maintenance problems.

From the moment I moved in this place I knew it was a big mistake. I could see right away the apartment hadn?t been cleaned at all, they may have vacuumed the carpet but that was about all they did. The A/C wasn?t working and there were water leaks all over the place. There was also a damp musty smell in the apartment that never went away. I later found out this place had a serious mold problem. Whenever it rains or the humidity gets real high it kicked off the mold. When that happens you get this horrible stench coming directly from the A/C and all you can do is shut off the A/C and open all the doors and windows. When it?s in the 90?s and extremely humid with no breeze outside and you?re stuck in this hot stinky apartment. The smell was equivalent to a trash dumpster full of rotten food that been sitting in the sun for weeks and that would be coming right out of the A/C!

It was so bad at times I ended up staying at friends house or just checked into a hotel. When I complained about it, all the maintenance people would do is change the filter, like that?s really going to help. Every time I asked what the problem was they?d say they?ll look into it. They?d never said what the problem was or what they?d do correct it. No matter what they did the problem just kept coming back within a week.

If that wasn?t enough, the apartment doesn?t have much insulation in it either. The A/C would run continuously and it would be still be hot and humid. What was worse, anytime any of the neighbors flushes the toilet or has a shower you can hear water flowing through the pipes and it?s loud! You wont need an alarm clock living in this apartment when one of the neighbors gets up at 6 am every morning and has a shower. The noise from the water flowing through the pipes would wake up anyone! Just think, there is an apartment above and below plus the ones on the either side and whenever anyone of them runs the water you hear it!

Then you have noise from the A/C but not only from yours but also your neighbors as well. It?s pretty sad when you hear this constant rumbling sound that never stops and you find out it?s from one of your neighbor?s A/C. To top if off, you also get to feel the apartment shaking from the vibrations from all those A/C?s too!

The day I moved in, the parking lot was full of u-Haul trucks. I quickly found out that I was the only one moving in while the rest were moving out. Several approached me and basically told me it?s a big mistake moving in this place. I wish I listen to them now, they were right about this apartment being a dump.

I just got to the point where I stopped complaining and started counting the days till I moved out of this dump. I figured this apartment was a lost cause and an absolute nightmare!

Also don?t be fooled by the bogus write-ups about this apartment which most likely is coming from the apartment management.
