The pluses raised by others are the big selling point: great location, can ride the Dillo downtown, walk to everything (downtown included), and good management. These are old apartments with a decent (and recent) remodel. Our only complaint was that we had small ants that were everywhere. No cockroaches, but small sugar ants would show up in kitchen, bathroom, even bedside table. We weren't leaving food out or anything, and once the first ones showed up we made a deliberate effort to keep all food under seal, but there was a morning where I poured myself a bowl full of cheerios and had to stop when I noticed the bowl was swimming with a bunch of moving black dots.

Oh, and parking can be bad during the seasonal festivals (Trail of Lights, ACL) because people park everywhere and it is a pain to try to get out or in on those narrow streets with cars on both sides of Toomey Rd and your typical jam due to Chuy's.

Just remembered one other thing: showering. I think they must have really bad water pressure or something, but if you take a shower you are guaranteed to have extreme fluctuations in temperature that are almost instantaneous. I'm talking, one second normal temp, then one second scalding hot, then two minutes later ice cold, and you haven't even touched the controls. I assume this is due to low water pressure in the building and the use of water in other apartments, but I never had a single shower without this experience. Now that I think about it, that was a pretty big downer.

Any apartment will have its flaws. This one is pretty decent. If you don't mind a miserable shower experience, if they up the dosage on whatever ant spray they bring out, I would say this is pretty great.
