BAD
1) Noisy: neighbors coming & going all hours, car & apt. door slamming, loud cars. Thin walls, bedrooms facing parking lot. Residents are inconsiderate (and/or drunk). You cannot keep windows open in Spring/Fall at night if you want to sleep. Sometimes you can't sleep w/them closed due.
2) Old: crappy appliances, therefore HIGH electric bills and scorched pots; mis-aligned door & window frames (bugs in, heat/air out); crappy carpeting; cheap cabinets, old decks w/splintery wood & exposed nails.
3) Cool-looking pool, but quite small w/too little sunny spots due to tree.
4) Have about 14 dings & scrapes on what was a brand new car w/I moved in here, one year ago. Parking slots are ridiculously close & people are friggin inconsiderate (see noise comment).
5) Bugs - a few horrible giant roaches. Lots of wasps, but they kill roaches so I leave them be.
6) Water bill - exceptionally high for an apartment. Was approx. $30 one month! VERY high electric bills.
7) Nice creek area ruined by junky chairs, grills, etc. of some residents. Looks like Appalachia.
8) You get what you pay for. Renting sucks.
GOOD
Great new manager - friendly, seems eager to help. Great maintenance staff. Good 78704 location. Pretty trees & flowers. Nice high ceilings, fireplace, floorplan, deck(s) on 3rd floor. Decent storage/closet space.
