Some kids came to my door trying to sell a stray cat for a quarter. This place is like a daycare center....very loud with kids yelling all the time. They push shopping carts into cars. Otherwise its great.

If Bent Oaks is still a primarily college community, then noise should be anticipated. Many times the residents are new to being on their own and really don't know how to behave without guidance. I would suggest speaking with management about any and all issues, because a good manager can talk to the students and explain the consequences of the continued behavior. If they have a parent as a cosigner, and many do, then a call to the cosigner is legal and an effective tool if behavior doesn't improve. Most of these kids just don't realize the disruption they are causing.

They are elementary school age CHILDREN, not college kids. I AM a college student. This complex has more small section 8 family children than students. The noise from these kids is much worse than any college student could ever be. They are out at 2 in the afternoon on a week day. I'm calling a truancy officer if this continues. These kids are so ghetto they try to sell stuff door to door. Anyone looking at this place realise: it's partially section 8 which aren't just old people, there are ghetto people here too. This is not disclosed until you sign your lease. It should be when you APPLY so you know way ahead of time. I've asked them nicely to be quiet and they just go "he did it, she did it" and it gets nowhere and I would ask their parents but I never can find any!

ARE YOU KIDDING! Bent Oaks is not a college community. The kids are the noise makers not partying college young adults.

There managers don't do anything and are completely incompetent. In fact, one of the noisiest little girls is an ex-office girl's daughter. These kids run around screaming outside of my window all day long, i dont understand, do they go to school?!?! i hate this community, and it isn't college-friendly at all. It is impossible to quietly study because of these annoying kids
