It was the first apartment my girlfriend (now wife) had together. She loved it.
The good:
1) Very nice landscaping/grounds
2) Very nice neighborhood, though a little "white-washed" for my taste.
3) Brand-spanking new appliances, tile, vinyl, fixtures, etc. in the kitchen when we moved in. Still the nicest kitchen (even though it was as big as a coffin) I've had before buying our house.
4) Nice (if a little reserved) neighbors. Kept to themselves but will smile and say hello.
5) Cute - my wife's description.
6) Walk-in closet.
7) HYRIDGE GROCERY BEER SECTION - A THING OF BEAUTY WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.

The bad:
1) The manager was an imbecile. She was painful to listen to - just a smooth-brained retard. No math/language skills and was too stupid to converse with. Hard to deal with.
2) Did I mention the manager was dim-witted'
3) Our neighbor's hot water heater burst and flooded the first floor of our 8-plex, ruining our carpet and rusting the bottom of our metal filing cabinet. After 4 certified letters, photos, and a BBB notice they "replaced" the carpet - they hacked out a 4'x4' square and patched in new carpet. I spoke to 3 other residents (from other buildings no less) who had the same experience. There was supposed to be a class-action lawsuit but I think the idiot's manager got involved and settled after we moved out.
4) A Harley-Davidson/NASCAR "RIP #3"/Busch Beer-swilling couple moved in across the parking lot from us, which I actually welcomed until he started smacking her around at 4am forcing me to act.
5) The apartment was smaller than a 2 car garage.

We moved because we 1)wanted something bigger and 2) wanted a manager with a double-digit IQ.
1) no problem
2) doesn't exist.

My wife wants to move back.
I want to go to the Hyridge Grocery beer section.

You must have drinking too much when you wrote this review. The review doesn't even fit this apartment community. We've never had a class action lawsuit involving this complex and I can back that up since I've been working here for over 8 yrs. I don't know why you would recommend this community, if you were so unhappy. All of the rules and regulations are the same for EVERYBODY!!!!!! We want all of our residents to be happy and go out of our way to accomodate them.

Key words: supposed to be

I guess he was right, management with a double-digit IQ is an outlandish request in this complex.

I'll take my interest and my money elsewhere. Scottschreiner, thanks for proving the previous resident correct.
