Well, ok, I haven't lived there for 8 years. That said, I did drive through the complex very recently and it looks just as well maintained as it was when I did live there. I loved the central location in Austin: half a block off Mopac and close to both 183 and 360. Compare that to living 25 miles out and having an hour and twenty minute commute each way! The immediate neighborhood is quiet medical offices on one side and older, retired folks on the other. I loved it! I used to walk a 5 mile circuit through that quiet little neighborhood every morning and lost 30 pounds while I lived there. I never really mingled with the staff, but found them to be friendly and reasonable nonetheless. I lived in a ground-level unit for about 4 years, and really had no complaints about parking, crime, noisy neighbors, maintenance, or any of that. I have fond memories of the place and would move back without question. I only ended-up moving out because of buying a house. Otherwise, I'd still be there.
