The utility costs are through the roof! My average electric bill exceeded $300 (the worst $418 EKK!),and the upstairs bedrooms are unbearably hot,(85-90 at times). The water leaks and drips, the walls have mold, my garbage disposal and fridge have been broken or in need of repairs since I moved in over a year ago, we have frequent scorpion and giant roach/water bug visitors, and my ceiling has always leaked. The security gate has never worked, in fact, I've never seen it closed at all. Maintenance is not good. My air conditioner went out for the 3rd time,(perhaps part of the horrible electric bill), and it always takes forever, as in many, many days to get it repaired. I am still waiting on other repairs...they have apparently ordered parts more than 3weeks ago, isn't Home Depot just down the road' Point is, they are older apartments sorely in need of some TLC and some of this causes the utilities and inconveniences to out weigh the very fair rental rates.

The up side, the managers are amazingly flexible and kind. They will absolutely stand on their heads to try to help you out! Great and friendly people and my neighbors are fantastic when I've had them...lots of vacant units! Despite the reputation of "Dove Springs" area of town, it appears to be a quiet, safe place.

It has it's ups and downs, I just can't quite take the crazy utility bills. I can afford to up my rental rate substantially if I can cut my electric bill in half and and get some adequate maintenance! Point is I had to look for a new place! 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
