I had lived in this apt complex for a year. During the time I leased an apt, I had several water leaks and minor maintenance issues. Sadly, the staff was not helpful in repairing my leaks/problems. Thus, my apt developed mold, water stains and huge spots where my paint would peel off from the ceiling due to lack of repair. The paint on my walls did not match because upon move in, the staff realized they bought the wrong color of paint. Only after I mentioned the Austin Tenant Council did my maintenance requests get noticed. Even then, the problems were "patched" and not fixed. Water was always being turned off without proper notice due to line damage on the grounds or boiler problems. And emergency maintenance issues (such as your toilet being out of service) were only addressed after 3-4 phone calls to the office staff. (My toilet leaked into my master bedroom and I had water damage to my carpet. Someone FINALLY arrived at 10pm to fix it) Managers changed four times in the one year I lived there. I do not recommend this apt complex to anyone. The price is too high and the service you get from the office staff is too low. The maintenance staff can often be seen sitting chatting, flirting with tenants, or just walking around the grounds rather than doing any work. When you report your issues to the office, the staff acts as if they never received your request. When I moved out and tried to report my problems to the Manager, she would not even take my phone calls. Any time I wished to speak to her in person, she'd claim she had an emergency and would refuse to speak to me. Cars are often broken into while parked in the parking lot. Consider another property before you rent here.
