Bridgehead has earned this high rating ...

Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
If it weren't for a change in needs, I would have stayed at Bridgehead for at least two years. If you are looking for a place where the tenants are MATURE, the pets are nice, and the environment is QUIET, then this is the place for you. Even better -- and this has been quiet shocking -- the staff WILL HELP YOU IF YOU ASK. They even helped coordinate my transfer to another complex more suited to my needs.
Seriously, I had not lived in an apartment for over 20 years. This is as close to a "townhome" community as you will find in 360/2222 area. There is a mixture of mature students, professionals, and 50s/60s. Everyone minds their business. One of the best draws are the mature trees, great views, and HUGE covered back porches. On the weekends, I'd say about 1/2 the complex is gone which creates even greater quietness.
When I moved in, the management worked with me and didn't high-pressure sale. They gave me a great deal on moving out and lease renewal is not the game I have read about (this is an amazing benefit). And as I worked on moving out, I am certain I drove them crazy, but no attitude--just as even-keeled as they always are. Always friendly. As for repairs, if it can be done that day, it will be. I've called at even 4pm. Honestly, you know you are in a good community when the staff wave at you before you wave to them.
If anyone asks me ... or if you asked me ... I would definitely refer them to Bridgehead if we shared the same priorities (quiet, quality service, mature residents -- and I don't just mean age, and in the most beautiful part of Austin).
Parking : Assigned parking would be better instead of paid reserved. But perhaps it's the fairest way to do it. I almost ALWAYS parked right in front of the building. Perhaps 2 times out of 180 days did I have to park 25 feet away instead of 10 feet.
Noise and safety. I have NEVER seen or heard a police car or fire truck here. Noise after 10pm' Not gonna happen! My neighbor even recently went door-to-door to return a dropped digital camera (mine) and someone's wallet!
Construction. Built well. Low elec bill ($130ish during these 100 plus days) for an apt on the ridge (no shading). $30 elec and sewer.
Good luck!
