It's cheap, the maintenance staff is responsive, and the apartments aren't that bad. That's all the good things I can possibly say.
The security gates are a joke. I can't remember them all working for more than a day at a time. The pool is constantly overrun with kids from the complex across the street. The staff is ok - not great, they have gotten better. Each apartment has it's own water heater, but I've seen two break this month and the hot water in the shower only lasts a few minutes. Neighborhood - ghetto! But the biggest reason I am getting out of here is that it has gotten so bad that the cops have had to maintain a presense here lately. Don't get me wrong - I'm glad they're here - we need them. Gun shots, heated arguments in the parking lots in the middle of the night, and vandalism.
