Cheap but bad area

The one good thing about this complex is the staff (kinda). The rest I was very disappointed in. I was okay with it for the first 6 months. Although service was slow. They say the will get someone out in 24-hours, it usually takes 2-4 days. After the 6 months, I re-newed the lease. The apartments got a lot worse. Lots of loitering going on. When I woke up to go to work in the mornings I'd see a car with broken window and shattered glass all over the parking lot. This occured 2-4 times a week. Homeless guys seemed to like comming to this complex and go door to door begging for money. Now my apartment wasn't that safe. The door wasn't secure and it didn't close all the way. Looked like it could be kicked in easily due to a part robbery. I was right. One time I came home from a friends house that I was spending the night at and the door had been kicked in. I looked inside and several treasured items were missing along with my refridgerator being raided. I freaked out and called the police. I then grabbed the belongings that were not stolen and threw them in my Miata and made two trips to my friends house, I couldn't stay a second in that place. I came back a week later and my apartment had been robbed AGAIN! Not only was everything taken out, but anything they didn't want was trashed all over the carpet. The apartment was a mess. I was so depressed at this point. I got what I could (not much) and went back to my friends house and stayed there until I found some room mates to move in with in Cedar Park. Do not live here, terrible place. It's not worth the cheap rent!
