Good Apartments for the Area

It was difficult for me to give Camden Briar Oaks a good review because I did not enjoy my time at these apartments. The area is dirty, run down, and dangerous. A woman was robbed in the middle of the night in the building next to me. My neighbor's car was hit in the parking lot and left without a note or explaination. My laundry was stolen TWICE from the laundry room! I lost many hours of sleep due to the loud, inappropriate music my neighbors played all hours of the night. Every time I walk out of my apartment there is someone sitting in their car staring at me as I walk. The pools are nice but impossible to enjoy because of rude tenants who crowd/trash the pool area. However, South East Austin is not the best area. Camden can not control the kind of people who surround the complex (warning, not a gated community). The complex is the cleanest complex in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And maintenance has always been fast to come. I would recommend Camden Briar Oaks only if you have to be in this area.
