I?ve lived at Huntingdon Apartments for


4 years now (yes, I said 4) and I love it! If you want a great place to live with friendly staff and a knowledgeable maintenance staff...live here!


The main staff has changed several times, but they have all been friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful to me. When I needed something fixed, (usually a toilet or a clogged sink), the maintance staff fixes it the same day...almost always. Special kudos to the Assistant Maintenance man! He is awesome! He is always professional, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, extremely hard worker, and he goes the extra mile when I really need help.


The grounds are beautiful and clean. They are always making sure the lawn and shrubs are trimmed. Austin experienced a tornado last year. Let me tell you after living in apartment complexes for over 12 years, I have never seen a management and maintenance staff work so hard to repair and clean up what the tornado left behind so quickly. Our Porter, Make Ready man and our Housekeeper work extremely hard and do a great job keeping our place clear of trash, debris and ready for living. (Especially our end of the complex, which seems to have a lot of trash to throw away!!) Our apartments are very spacious and I really enjoy the study room off of the living room. I really like the white stone on the front of the building and the flowers at the entrance and at the pool area. [Which by the way, I always see our Porter cleaning :-) ]


The only complaints I have are with the emergency maintenance assistance. Recently, I had a big problem with my dishwasher leaking buckets and buckets of soapy water all over the floor. It was a nightmare and the emergency maintenance staff on duty, refused to help me. I had to do a lot of work and get a wetvac to clean up the mess. I do have to say though, when I talked with the manager soon after, she was extremely helpful, very appologetic and is helping me replace my floor. She is very proactive and takes steps to make sure any problems are corrected so hopefully they won?t happen again. The maintanence work to fix my dishwasher during business hours was very good. The other comment I have is with the loud music played by some tenants. No reflection of the complex, just I wish some tenants would be more considerate of others. Overall, we have very nice residents here. The only other thing I liked to see the fitness equipment repaired or checked on more often.


This management staff works hard to keep us happy. That?s quite an accomplishment considering our large size. I?m very happy to call this place home.
