I just moved in and am regretting it a lot!!! The mgmt says the apts are professionally cleaned. No way. I recleaned my apt before I moved in. The tile in the bath tub/shower has dark mold spots. They said they would reclean them. I do think they did something to the tile but it still has mold spots. I am going to pay out of my own pocket to have the tile cleaned because it grosses me out.

Appliances: They are old and dented. I can't even read the thermostat because it's so old and the ink has worn off. The apt, especially the closet, has a really bad odor. I am airing it out as much as I can.

Trash: There is a trash valet. I haven't had a problem with them picking the trash up, however, tenants constantly put out their trash during non-pickup times. End result is that the breezeway smells like rotten trash. Also, the maintenance staff do not do a good job of picking up trash.

Cable: You have to pay $47 for Time Warner. Check around other cable companies and you realize how you are getting ripped off. No tv guide is provided and there isn't a channel with TV listing. I called Time Warner to see if I needed a special remote. For an addition $15, I can get an "upgrade" which will allow me the luxury of being to see a listing of tv shows instead of going from channel to channel which I am doing right now. Such a ripoff!!!!

Parking: Horrible parking. I have to park quite a distance from my apt. Some vehicles will take up two spaces because the spaces are too small. However, for an additional charge, you can rent a parking space or a garage. Yeah, right.

Smoke detectors: My smoke detectors have red lights. To my knowledge they are supposed to be green. I've asked mgmt to check them but I do not think they've done anything. I am looking into reporting them to the appropriate authorities.

Mgmt staff: As far as I can tell, the front desks are temps or relatively new personnel. The manager seems to not care about the tenant. I talked with her about cigarette butts being disposed of on the breezeway (seems like someone just emptied their ashtray), she listened but I felt like I was irritating her.

On the plus side--it seems to be a quiet complex for the most part.
