I moved out of the Alexan to the State House about a month ago. While living at the Alexan I had experienced more problems in one year than I have in all my years of renting combined. As a --- man I thought the Alexan would be a perfect fit for me. It came well recommended by the --- community in Austin. I will admit that it had plenty of hunks to choose from but that was its only perk. The problems started from day one. I am not noise averse but the apartment complex consisted of loud non-stop noises, mainly consisting of fights and screaching tires and horns of cars at all hours of the night and all days of the week. I also had a serious -----roach problem. Those darn things just would not go away. I never hesitated calling the maintenance man, if you know what i mean, but they really became a problem when I started finding them in my bed, food, and kitchen drawers. Apparently that is not the Alexans fault, the old appartments I hear had the same problem. It has something to do with the place being built in that spot so close to the town lake water zone, apparently no matter how hard they have tried, no one has been able to get rid of them. Although my stay at the Alexan was almost constantly riddled with disturbances, I must commend them on the great job they did with policing the parked cars within the parking garage. The Alexan has diverted most of their attention at achieving customer satisfaction by making sure that visiting cars are not welcomed. My neighbors were constantly having friends come visit them and that was a disturbance to me. However the last several months of my residency at the alexan they went out of their way to tow anything possible and I appreciate it.
