I hate this place!

I really do hate living here. Please bear in mind, I never saw this place before moving in. My living here is the work of my stupid roommate, who lives in the "master" bedroom. The only thing I can think of that could possibly make this place worth half its rent is the location.
Firstly, the 3 bedroom layout is ridiculous. The two smaller bedrooms are miniscule in comparison to the "master" bedroom, which, with its bathroom, is bigger than both other bedrooms put together. The whole layout doesn't make much since considering the distinct lack of nuclear families living here. So the giant amount of square footage is really only one bedroom and the living room/kitchen. It's a total rip for me. I could have the same sized room for less than half the price. Then, the patio is microscopic in our apartment and the patio for the two bedroom is even worse. Fitting three people on a patio is elbow-to-elbow.
Second, the quality of construction bites. In the "shared" bathroom is a dial for the shower's temperature. Altogether, it spans 270 degress, but 180 of that has no effect on the water tempature at all. You get to pick from too hot or too cold, with the added bonus that the temprature changes. The patio screen has popped off three times now. The fixtures, carpet, paint and whatnot are exactly the same ones found in "low rent" apartments.
The "hive". The whole place is a hive that centers around the parking garage, which is a constant source of noise. Then, there are catwalks that connect the buildings to each other and the garage. They have inexplicably placed doors that separate segments of catwalks. Needless to say the doors slam all night long and people will always be walking by your apartment. The whole mess of the layout adds up to the following equation. If you're unfortunate enough to have a room that faces the garage, you get to hear someone drive in, get out of their car, go to their apartment and slam a few doors on the way, all as if there wasn't a wall between you.
I thought having a parking garage would be cool. But it's loud, noisey and my car is dirty as soon as I wash it (because they have the blower teams running through the garage shooting dust onto your car), which is not to mention they have no visitor parking, NONE!
Then come the facilities. The "pool", "workout area", "business center", "etcetera" are all a joke. The pool is maybe twenty feet long and goes to a whopping depth of 4 feet. There is also no hot tub, which surprised me. This place charges out the yin-yang but won't even spring for a hot tub, a staple of "upscale downtown living". Well before I go further, let me give you a comparison. I've living in a four bedroom apartment, which was larger and only cost 1000/month. In that complex, we had a huge pool, hot tub, workout area the size of a small gym, and all sorts of other whatnot. Alexan Congress doesn't have any of these things to a satisfactory degree and some not at all.
Bottom line: Everything about this place is backward and I'm counting the days until I can leave. You don't want to live here.
