Yeah that ampartment building is aweful to live at. It is a nice building and great location, but the office staff is terrible! They think they are better than everyone else and they cant keep track of packages!! Somehow one of my victoria secret packages dissappeared after ups dropped it off and someone in the office signed for it, but then it was no where to be found!! Office staff is nice when u sign ur lease but after that they arent very helpful.
look around and dont rent there! better places out there for less money

i agree with everything you've said. i've had almost the same experience, super nice to not caring at all and actually acting like they are being bothered. i don't see the construction as much in my part of the complex, but there is a gate by our building. i'm guessing it's there for fire truck or fire escape purposes because you can't drive out that way. BUT the smaller gate for people is always left unlocked. i see random people walk in and out of there in all hours of the night. i've already made a complaint to the front office back in september. to this day, the door is still unlocked. also, the building across mine continually has all kinds of loud music and loud people screaming and talking,cars blasting their music in the garage, girls screaming. all this racket going on between the hours of 2am to 5am. i've made mention to the office, but these people, i'm assuming they are college kids, continue to party on. i've even told the office which floors the noise are from, which building, etc. BUT clearly no follow up. so much for the clause in the lease talking about a quiet complex and required respectfulness of noise control. there's also been an unacceptable amount of dog poop found in the grass areas. the tenants are responsible for their pets, of course. i have made a complaint for the office to at least send out a reminder for owners to pick up after their pets. on top of noise, poop, open doors, the place has a terrible water heating system. i take my showers between 7am and 9am, and there is never any hot water. so i thought, maybe i need to change my times. i take it in the evenings between 10pm and 12am, still no hot water! and the water bill is so high, because it is not based on usage. i'm very conservative when it comes to water, and i am one person. i have no idea why i should be paying $90-plus on water every month!! also, the carpet they installed in the units never stay clean. i've even purchased my own carpet steam cleaner to clean it. i think camden bought the cheapest they could find. which is a shame, because they charge and arm and a leg and a kidney to stay here. and to top this off, maintenance is slow. i filled out some request forms back in september and no one came til november. and still the problem has not been fixed. they said they have to contact a contractor. it's february now, i'm not going to hold me breath. i'm quite unhappy, and can't wait for my lease to be done.
