I've lived here for a year and a half now, and I have no complaints. I'm a little surprised by the complaints I've read here about the office and maintenance staffs. The office staff has always treated me with courtesy and respect, and the maintenance staff has always responded quickly to my requests for service. For cryin' out loud, they even change my lightbulbs when I ask them to. And they take away my trash from my front door five nights a week. I feel like I'm living in a hotel! The property is diligently maintained. I have not had any problem receiving packages delivered to the office.

Architecturally the place is a bit of a nightmare. Quality construction materials, and cheap construction labor. Nothing is perfectly plumb, although you probably wouldn't notice unless you lived here. Instead of a balcony I've got this weird portico that's pretty useless; and I kinda wish my bedroom window didn't face the walkway. But my 1-BR unit is very spacious, over 1000 SF.

At least where my unit is located in the complex, it is very, very quiet. I'm on a top floor, away from the garage. If I have any complaint about noise, it's from the AC units mounted on the roof. When they all get going together, they can be very loud. But those are the times when I'm most likely to have my doors and windows closed anyway. My living room windows face WNW, and in the summer afternoons it's difficult to keep the apartment as cool as I'd like. On a 100 degree day I'll set the thermostat at 78 but the temp will be 82 even with the AC going non-stop.

They have a weird formula for setting the rent. If you're thinking of moving here ask to see several vacant units, because larger isn't always more expensive. In fact when I moved here there were a couple of 2BR units that were cheaper than the 1BR unit I selected, and some smaller 1BR units that were more expensive than the one I selected.

I don't own a car but I sense that parking is a little tight, and people often park in places they're not supposed to. Sell your car - there's a bus stop right out front. :-) And there are hundreds of cool things you can walk to. The location can't be beat.

Heck, I'd buy this apartment if they'd sell it to me!
