At first it seemed very attractive to live here, and I was taken by how nice everyone appears in the front office. They are very nice and well meaning, but they tend to be a bit unprofessional; namely, you do not tell a resident that you will do something to the tune of "I will get right on it" and then totally neglect to that which you said you would do. There was and still is I believe, a serious issue of Negligence present within the management at this apartment complex. Sense I have lived here I have taken account of a great many things that malfunction, break or just go wrong and how they are seemingly never fixed... Oh but everyone is real pleasent when you ask them about it... The facilities maintenance is some of the worst I have encountered. one of the entrance gates of the complex is frequently broken and letting all sorts of people in all night and all day. the walk through-access gate by the office has been broken sense I moved in novemeber of 05; so the complex is actually quite accessible to anyone who wants to enter it... the Gym has so much broken equipment in it (Honest Truth). sense I have been using I have watched things fall apart and simply stay broken. When you ask them about it they say laughingly that someone should be fixing it, but isn't, followed by lots of smiles. I guess this is to see if you will go along with the joke i guess... Hint hint, I don't go along with it! This brinngs me to an injury I sustained by using the faulty gym equipment; a rather serious one I might add, and how they initially said over the phone they felt terrible about it and wanted to pay for everything. Well they didn't pay for anything; they said in a note left on my door that they were't reponsible if a peice of equipment in their gym break and bludgeons me to death... They are very quick to point out when some technicalaty exempts them from liability. Personally this type of practice in business is a bit sleazy and always has been! Oh and it took them almost 3 months to tell me this, after I kept asking week after week, and my hospital bills went unpaid from the injury for 3 months. very dissapointing. all this in addition to my mountain bike being vandalized by drunk idiots passing through the complex, freely wreaking havoc without being noticed by the security guards who just sit on their asses at the front gate, and wave cars through who know the gate code. They are also very stiff on penalizing you for being late with rent; frist of all i don't know a college student who isn't still trying to get this whole money thing straight and WTF don't they fix some things around here if they are going to stick it to us so hard. this complex has all the same elements of crossing place apts, longhorn landing etc. they have massive parties all nights of the week, at all hours and people pour out into the complex from these parties after the cops bust them, and break bottles, then start ----. It the same "collegiate living" advertised at these other places... pffff WTF ever, this is not collegiate living... It is nothing more than an amusement park for drunk kids. they are very slow indeed to respond to appliance problems in the apartments and my friggin room is still too hot... whoa appears I have gotten away from myself; just look elsewhere for a place to stay. This is not the best environment for students...

The main point of this story is don't work out when you're high - right Goldy? Or is it don't work out on equipment that you know is broken that has a sign on that says it is broken. Come on!
