let me begin with the management:
a)incompentent and rude. All the females have bleached hair and seems like they call each other to color coordinate thier outfits. Seems like the peroxide seeps into thier brains bc they dont know anything. If they spent as much energy in bleaching thier hair and getting fake tans as they did in thier job, soo many people wouldnt be leaving as soon as thier leases expired.
b) If you are expecting an expensive package (books, electronics, etc), beware, the office is prone to "losing" it and they dont take any responsibility at all.
c) if anything in your apartment breaks down, dont expect it to be fixed in the next few days. In my apartment, our upstairs neighbors' dishwasher leaked water from our kitchen roof. It took them 2 weeks to come by and take a look at it, and even then they left the job half done and we had to go yell at them to repair it.

security: if your car gets broken into once a semster, consider yourself lucky. Most people have thier windows smashed and radios taken atleast 3-4 times over the year. The security guards at the front gate are useless. They let everyone through and dont even walk around the complex in areas that should be monitored. They end up going near the basketball courts or near parties and hit on residents.
There are parties all the time and people feel as if they need to throw beer bottles into the parking lot for no reason at all. If you live near the pool, courts, volleyball area, expect to have your car vandalized.
o yea, they always post pictures near the office of sex offenders that live in the complex. wth' why would you even let them live there in the first place.

bus: it is impossible to get on the bus in the morning since CE is the last stop on the shuttle route and is always full by the time it comes around to you. In the evenings, it takes up to an hour to get home from UT campus on the bus due to rush hour.

Clubhouse: They have a nice clubhouse with pool tables, but the catch is you can only use it when the office is open. That means, if you want to shoot pool, come between the hours of 8am-6pm m-f and 10-2 s,su. So if you want to play pool or watch a big screen, you must skip class if you want to have "fun".

moving out: they tell you that you dont need to put down a deposit. thats the catch. When you try to move out, they will send home a bill for little things. I had to pay $125 because they had to repaint ALL the walls, vacuum the carpet, and clean the tile. And you cant dispute these charges because when you call they give you the run-around and they tell you it will ruin your credit history if you dont pay.

overall: beware! if you want to live somewhere that does bad business, CE is the place for you.
