Before I moved in I did indicate on the roommates matching form that the roommates must have minimum noise level and are neither all-nighters nor those who invite friends all over. Guess what, two months later two new roommates moved in and all they do when they are inside is to drink and create NOISE in the living roommate, and they won't stop talking (or should I say yelling) with all sorts of other people that had come over until 2AM. On the days even when I managed to get to sleep before hearing the noise, I would often be disturbed later because they were playing rap music very loud to the extent I had to cover my ears with everything possible to block the noise! It's just horrid! These people aren't even college students. What's even worse - they made damages to the furnitures when they get drunk... If anything, DO NOT live in the East Riverside area if you actually WANT TO STUDY and need a quiet environment. I'd rather pay an extra $200 a month to get a better apartment in places like the Far West.
