Let me tell you things wrong with living in campus estates:
-We live in front of the gates, about 20 ft from the guards, my car got broken into.
-During Christmas, someone came into our building, kicked in the doors, and stole everyone's stuff.
-They don't use real keys, you have to use a hotel key = gets lost easily, breaks, no spare. Mine stops working literally every two or three weeks, and I'm always going in the office to get it fixed, I go so often, they already know what I need when I walk in!!
-the water and waste bill is outrageous!!!! We pay waste and water from the city of austin, and they still charge us about 20-30 EACH for waste and water!
-The gates are usually broken.
-People listen to their music VERY loud and like to play football in their apartments errr something, and it shakes our whole building.
-Everyone puts their trash outside their door instead of walking downstairs to the dumpster...and then local racoons find it and spread it around, and its disgusting!
-Everyone drives waaay too fast, and they crash into things sometimes!!!
-The Pool is amazing....but you'll have to swim through at least 357 beer cans (I counted!)
-The staff is extremely unhelpful! We didn't have hot water for months....the first time they sent someone, it was 4 days after I called.....and some kid in elvis glasses showed up at my door with a little screwdriver, I shut the door on him. 2 Months later, they finally sent someone to fix it....when winter was over.
-Today, they cut off the water without notice, and we have to go to our gym to take showers YET again!
-The gym is nice, and they have personal trainer, but the equipment is outdated, not sure if its clean either.
-Don't have packages sent to your apartment, someone will steal it, or they'll bring it to the wrong apartment....actually don't get mail at all....I get other people's mail all the time, and sometimes...its important stuff! And not everyone is nice enough to come bring it to you.
-They charge for rrrreeeaaalllyyy stupid things when you move out, and it will be expensive!
-My building is new, but people tell me in the back where the older ones are...they are usually trashed when you move in...and I've been inside a few that were absolutely disgusting.

Oh and by the way....you'll be living in the middle of mexican ghetto...and you'll have to deal with horrible traffic everyday.

Please don't move here, just come party here, that's all its good for!!!
Its not bad in the summer at....it's actually quite nice, I enjoyed my apartment in the summer...but as soon as fall hits and everyone moves in, its a nightmare!!
too many students, kids don't know how to be respectful.
