DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!

I would greatly persuade anyone from signing a lease with Campus Estates! They are currently undergoing a renovation in which was not in the plans when I signed my lease. Since this has happened we no longer have a security guard working the front gate (before we did every night of the week) the gate seems to be tided open with ropes (why ... we do after all live in a gated community) the construction workers port-a-potty is always dumped over (clearly disgusting) the swimming pool has been drained and will remain that way until who knows when (my rent includes a swimming pool) the construction workers are known to start work at 7 am!!! What the ... I have been in a constant battle about the fact that there are NO street lights in the area in which I live. I have asked repeatedly for the light bulbs to be changed for mine and others safety. Six months later and they are still burnt out! And this past weekend, four gun shots were fired between 5:15 and 5:30. Maybe if the security guard was still employed and the gates were working this little incident would not have occurred. When I first moved in here, my entire storage unit on the patio and part of the living room ceiling was completely molded out. It took 3 ... yes 3!!! months for them to fix the issue. Oddly enough, my roommates and I were constantly finding ourselves with colds and coughs. Now that they have FINALLY fixed it, I have not had another "cold" since. Bottom line, the rent is cheap, but the actual apartment unit is expensive. I live with 3 other people and our rent averages between us all a little over $1500 per month. I feel as though we are being completely robbed and spending this amount of money is almost a disgrace when you can't even get the management to change a light bulb. Oh yes, and if you do decide to live here after reading this, the maintenance guys do not like to lock doors behind them. Clearly the front door locks on it's own, ours was left OPEN!!! and the back patio door was left unlocked!

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!
