Cannon South Apartments

Cannon South was a good deal for me. From: james134 Date posted: 5/4/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I enjoyed my time at Cannon South. I have a new truck, and was concerned with it being broken into as well, not just at home, but at the mall, and anywhere else it's parked. I did not have any problem with safty or security at Cannon South. Sorry the previous poster did, but again, that can happen anywhere. My take on the place is that they give you a fair deal. You don't have marble floors, but, you don't pay 2K a month either. I had a one bedroom townhouse style, and had a huge bedroom, and lots of closets. Price per sq/ft was the best in the area. My A/C died the day I moved in and that was no fun. Maintenance came out the same day...they needed some obscure part that had to be ordered, but I had A/C the next day when I got home from work. There is plenty of parking, the other tennants are friendly, the grounds and pool are kept up, maintenance is on top of things. Bob the manager is a cool. He doesn't sling attitude like some managers do. He ain't no push-over, but he is fair and honest, and will take care of you, without the attitude. One thing I don't get is why the pools in Texas are not open year round. I would have been using it all winter!
