unlike the other writers, i never had any safety issues here. very few shady people, nothing really strange going on, no break-ins or anything like that. the apartment was fairly nice and so were the grounds, considering the price.
however, my issues were with the management. we had a two story apartment with the bathroom upstairs, and the bathroom was leaking into the downstairs for over six months before we got anyone to go over and fix it -- we'd bother them at least once a week. they'd occasionally make a half-ass attempt to fix it but it would always leak again. there was a huge hole in the ceiling and it was moldy.
also, they try to not tell you they require 60 days notice for you to move out. it's on the lease, but they make no attempt to point this out to you, because they want to screw you out of the extra month's rent. i did, in fact, notify them 60 days in advance when they asked me if i was going to renew my lease, but they wanted it on some specific form.
on top of that, when i moved out, i cleaned the apartment until it was spotless, management said everything was in order, and then they took almost all of my deposit for "replacing the carpet" -- what a ripoff!
