Centennial Place

Moved into this complex in 2001 and it was much less busy, a less pupulated area, more quiet, just a much less chaotic neighborhood. I am moving because of the area, not because of the complex or manager. There are businesses everywhere and it's on a very busy intersection and my buildng was right next to a loud carwash. I just want something more peaceful. If noise and a busy neighborhood don't bother you, I recommend this complex.

Lisa is a great manager and very helpful. Staff are professional and nice. Rent is reasonable. They allow pets (with pet deposit) and it's convenient to downtown, 35, 71 and Mopac. The buildings are showing their age so don't expect the latest features or a super modern complex. But management is more than happy to fix or replace anything that breaks or is showing too much wear. If you renew your lease and are a good tenant, they give you free carpet cleaning, paint touch up - I even got new ceiling fans. The appliances are inexpensive brands but they work and management will replace anything that breaks or stops functioning (in my 8 years here, they replaced my washer and garbage disposal when they died.) The management office is nice, clean and decorated well. They will sign for packages if you are not home to receive them (from UPS, etc.) and keep them in a locked closet until you can pick them up. Lisa is always willing to discuss an issue with you and she will do her best to resolve any problem. The pool is very small but clean and well maintained. I've never really had a problem with parking. Though I would not consider this the nicest neighborhood in Austin, as a woman who lives alone I can't say I have ever felt unsafe here.

In 8 years, I have been through several managers at this complex and Lisa is the best.
