I represent the management company. It always disturbs us when a resident is unhappy with our response to a situation. Because of the construction behind the community we are seeing an increase in mice. The situation described in the post is not the whole story. We had a pest control professional at the apartment within 3 hours of our being notified. Traps were set. A mouse was caught. When a rodent is caught in the apartment, the resident can simply throw it in the dumpster or wait until the next day and request that one of our maintenance staff throw it in the dumpster. It is true that we do not come during the night to toss a dead mouse. It is not unusual for us to ask a resident to clean their apartment if we find rodents. We are not responsible for the cleanliness of an apartment. We are sorry that mice are finding their way to our property and our pest control folks are working on the problem.
