Built in 1983, this complex is being allowed to disintegrate. The new owner, Northland Investments, evidently is wanting to squeeze out every last dollar it can before selling the property to a developer. Because the complex is located next to a greenbelt, the area would be perfect for a community of high-end townhouses or condominiums.

Unfortunately, until the complex is finally condemned by the City of Austin (which isn't that hard to believe), the current tenants are living in a nightmare of dying landscape, overgrown weeds, falling-down trees, crumbling sidewalks, peeling paint, warped and splintered railings and door frames, low water pressure, and 26-year old cable and phone connections. I wouldn't sign another lease if they PAID me to live here.
