LakeQuest was still managing this place when I moved in late 2006. The people seemed competent so I have no idea why did such a horrible job managing the place. First of all, my apartment was never cleaned from the person before me and I was never told this...I found this out from my realtor who they scammed as well. The place had not only roaches but FLEAS....all over. Actually, you'll still end up scratching if you sit on the floor. I was scared to put my stuff on the counters because they were that old, worn, and disgusting so they had them redone, thank goodness. Rather than refinishing the bath tub, they painted it so that is peely mess that clogs up the drain. What the other person said about the AC/Heater is so true. The kitchen appliances are ancient and my dishwasher never did work. They left at least 4 notices about exterminators coming to fumigate the complex...but my lil friends are still all over the place. It's actually so gross I don't invite people over. OH but the few times I did invite people over, they got towed....yup, at least 4 different friends at different times bc there is NO guest parking so you have to get a guest parking permit for certain days from the office during business hours. So yeah, if you have visitors or a significant other that comes over often, I wouldn't live here.

Now the positive. You can't beat the location, its great, quiet for the most part, and calm. I like the layout of my apartment and the rent is cheap. The place has a 1970s motel look so its a lil retro and visibly intriguing. This place has sooooooo much potential if someone would just put a large chunk of money into it, but I doubt they will. I think the management might have changed bc now they have an office here on site which is way better and the people are always friendly. There are ALWAYS maintenance people around, which makes me wonder exactly what they do because this place should be completely remodeled for the amount of time they spend around the very small complex. Anyhow, if you move in I suggest giving yourself a week before actually getting your stuff in here so you can make sure bugs are gone and the place is clean and to normal standards.

Oh and I wouldnt wash my clothes in the laundry room, looks gross, go to a laundry mat.
