I lived there for a little over a year, and I honestly didn't have the bad experience there that a lot of the other review writers seem to have had. Most of the problems I noticed here stemmed from some of the ghetto residents, rather than the management. There were, for example, the lovely people in the two apartments in the back of my building who stole my cable, in addition to having loud screaming arguments in the parking lot and playing their crappy ghetto music really loudly while refusing to watch their kids. There were also at least three times I can recall that sheriff's deputies had to come out here because of some assault or other incident. There was also the time I was woken up by what sounded like 12 to 15 gunshots in rapid succession outside my bedroom window...that was nice. Just FYI, the Wells Branch area isn't what it used to be (apartment wise, anyway). There are some good people living here, but there are some shady and ghetto ones too.

That being said, I never had a problem with the management, probably because I paid my rent and water bill on time, and never caused a problem or disturbance (all skills some Churchill Crossing residents have failed to master). Whenever I asked the office to fix something, repairs were done promptly and correctly. Other than that, I never had much occasion to bother the management, and they never had reason to bother me either. I never had problems with bugs either, so I strongly suspect some of my "neighbors" just didn't know how to keep their damn apartments clean. The only grievance I had with CC management was concerning the laundry rooms - they were always dirty and the machines almost never worked well. I usually just drove to a laundromat, though, so even that was a minor inconvenience. This place could also use a major overhaul of the landscaping, which only looks good around the office. They repaired and repainted the exteriors of the buildings soon after I moved in, so the buildings themselves look good - it would help if the landscaping matched.

There was one person in the office (her name escapes me right now) who was kinda rude to me once. Other than that, both Laura and Michelle treated me pretty well whenever I did have occasion to go into the office, so I've got no complaints there either. I probably would've renewed my lease if I hadn't needed to move closer to work (and if the idiots in my building who were stealing my cable and having shouting matches outside had been evicted).

In short, I'd recommend Churchill Crossing based on the management and the complex itself, but not so much based on the neighborhood it's in, and some of the residents there. If the management bumps up the quality of their tenants a notch, and does some basic landscaping and fixes up the laundry rooms, though, this place could be really nice.
