I moved into Centergate Sept 2003 and was satisfied with everything at that point. The first week of moving in (bldg 9 btw) I called the police on 4 different occasions due to other tenants or their teenage daughters disturbing the piece at 3AM. I transferred to a larger apt four months later smoothly.
As soon as the new management (Colonial Village) took over, the complex went downhill. The staff is the rudest bunch of people I've ever professionally dealt with. My apt was broken into and they refused to change the locks unless I paid $40. When I requested a transfer (I am a young female) due to safety concerns they hassled me for over two months...never once could I stay the night at my apt. A leasing agent YELLED at me (she was fired or quit) blaming me for everything going on. Extremely professional...
Currently I have a hole one foot in diameter in my closet put there by maintence fixing the apt next to mine. I called a month ago demanding it be fixed..I was promised it would be. Take a wild guess whether or not it was fixed. I'm glad this website exists..if I can save one person from moving into this place, I will feel like I did my job. :)
