The Good, The Bad...the Truth

Here's the honest truth about what to expect when you move in:
Front Office Staff
Their helpfulness and courteousness depends on the day of the week and direction of the wind! The turn over is so high. There is one leasing agent who KNOWS what's going on. The entire management staff does not honor its word. They truly need a customer service and soft skills training class! My advice to you is to DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!!
Maintenance
The existing maintenance team is top rate. They are always courteous, helpful, and friendly. Their work is stellar!
Fitness Center
Some pieces of equipment have been broken for months. Whenever the residents ask for repair status we get told the same story...the management team is working on ordering repair parts or a new machine. One piece of equipment in particular has not functioned correctly for one year!
Business Center
Neither of the TWO computers work! They are s-l-o-w if they are functioning. Forget about internet access. The fax machine works if you're faxing something within Austin or a 1800 number.
Pool Area
They REMOVED all of the grills ;-( They said that they don't know when they'll install new ones (if ever).
Neighborhood
Pretty safe. The location of Quarry Oaks allows you to walk to HEB and the shopping center next door...very convenient.
Hope this helps in your assessment of the property...things to keep in mind. If you don't care about the bbq grills, fitness area, and business center...this is a good place to live. Based on reading about other properties, the front desk is the same everywhere! Happy apt hunting!
