Two faced.

I walked into this apartment and leased the same day due to an amazing deal I happen to come across. $880 for a large 2 - 2 with 1300sq ft. Soon there after I find that parking is a nightmare, I constantly had to park what seemed like marathons away from my apartment complex... not fun.

The maintenance was decent. They were prompt on fixing things however, needing to get to work and having the front door lock malfunction and actually be LOCKED in my apartment was a hard thing to tell my boss ("I'm going to be late... I'm locked in my apartment..."). What was I supposed to do' Jump off the balcony'

As far as the living situation was, it wasn't the absolute worse but with the noisy roads near by and neighbors constantly making noise, it was a bit restless.

Have a nice car' Better get a garage, multiple incidents of cars being broken into is a constant.

What really set me off was the staff. They were smiley and happy all the time until you need there assistance, I had family problems and needed to break the lease, there attitudes had changed from the cheery people I used to know to -----. They refused to work with me and slammed me with almost 10 grand worth of charges.

Think twice before getting two faced.

if you are sensitive to noise then may I suggest a building built to condo specs.. Which would have 3" of concrete between the ceilings and floors and a steel beam construction as opposed to wood. The Texas Attorney General's website shows your rights as a tenant and shows you what process to follow in order to break your lease without penalty. The Austin tenant's council also has the power to release you from a lease contract. http://www.austinapartmentguy.com
