I moved here from Riverside and actually pay less here. There were some problems when we first moved in with outlets not working and such but it was all taken care of the day we call the office. The ac leaks sometimes but it wasn't a pain to live with. We get a monthly newsletter which tells you all sorts of events going on in Austin and which movies are coming out and when, keeps me from spending time finding that info out. It's a bit noisy. The night before I started a 7am-6am job there were some people in the parking lot blaring music so that sucked but that problem has been taken care of. We did get a notice about people shooting and what not so maybe it's not the safest place to live but, after living at Riverside, I don't mind not having top-notch security. It's better than the ghetto. My old apartment had about 10x as much ---- happen. As far as I know, no one has been murdered here, unlike Town Lake Apartments. I am moving out because of my new job. With higher pay comes a better home. Otherwise, I would probably stay. We had wasps but chose to get rid of them ourselves. I haven't seen too many bugs around. Everyone in the office has been nice to me. Well, one major complaint I have is that they do not notify you of a package in the office until they are about to throw it out. My bf and I were expecting an expensive package containing our protection and I had to go to the office myself and hope they had them. Oh well, it could be much worse. Remember, you get what you pay for. In this case you get a bit more but not too much. Good luck!
Nevermind!! My car was broken into and management didn't do ----! They said they would at least send out a notice about MORE crime in the area. That was over a month ago and I haven't seen anything. And, get this, they sent us a notice days after we reported the incident to let us know our lease was almost up and if we were to stay here: another year- extra $20
6-11 months- extra $90
month to month- extra $120
We did a little research a few weeks ago that lets us know how terrible crime is at this complex. Apparently management has done nothing to fix the problem. F*ck these apartments! Happy hunting!
