Good budget apartment if you're single

I picked this apartment out of a catalog when I moved to Texas via Illinois.
I did see a few college kids buying drugs in the parking lot, and I also had to call the cops twice to stop some serious domestic "disputes" going on with the neighbors. I would never go so far to call this a "family" complex.
However, the apartment staff was great, the maintenance staff was top notch, and the grounds were maintained along with a more than adequate laundry room (no waiting, ever). For a budget apartment, it's one of the best I could have imagined.
The "landlord," I believe her name was 'Shannon' is only unapproachable if you've forgotten to pay rent or if you're impolite. She responded to my every request with diligence and was as fair as could be.
