I lived here for 2 1/2 years. This is an extremely high crime area. Complex management has done NOTHING to make it safer for the tenants. Check APD records for crime statistics. 50 auto thefts/burglaries in just a few months at this complex alone. The area the complex was built is literally sinking. My apartment has visable cracks, the door does not shut properly (thus the cost of heating/cooling is outrageous) and the maintenance staff will not respect the property in or immediately outside of your apartment. Rent somewhere south, west or north of Austin if you can afford it. East Austin is what it always has been.
