My wife and I have lived here for a little over a year and a half but are now planning on moving. This First year was ok, maintanence was a little slow but we never had too many problems to worry about in the apt. There are some roach problems but they do send people around to spray...it just seems like if you miss at least one spraying, the bugs come back almost immediately. This leads me to believe that they are spraying, not to get rid of the roaches, just to make them hide until next time. As some of the other people have stated, its mainly the tenants who bring down this complex. Everytime my wife and I go to the car, we must walk through a gauntlet of shady characters staring her down like meat in a lion's den. Two weeks after this past Thanksgiving, someone left a pan of turkey meat and other food items right outside of our doorstep, mind you, the meat hadn't been refrigerated since Thanksgiving Day as it was completly moldy. Children are constantly running around the hallways which causes the entire apt to tremble. This is even more annoying when one of the 2 icecream trucks comes rolling through the complex at LEAST 10 times a day or more. We can hear our neighbors through the walls (sounds like they wrestle, slam doors, and bang on walls).Parking is horrible, it seems they have more covered parking than regular, but you have to pay extra for them. Weekends, people are outside drinking (and staring), playing music, and just plain acting a fool. There have been gunshots heard outside of our apt window, reports of burglaries, assault, and attempted kidnappings. The apt that we actually moved into was not the same as the one they showed us, it seems a lot smaller, but still do-able.
In short, just don't live here.
**Edit** We have since moved on to another apartment complex and are still waiting for our deposit back. We were required to pay one month's rent as deposit. It has been a month and a half since we moved out and we still haven't received anything. According to TAA this is illegal and we will be taking legal action if something isn't done soon.

No this place has really let itself go. When we first moved in 2006, this place was something to be proud of...now there are kids running around all hours of the day, in the streets with no one watching them, and the men in this neighborhood act like you're a street hooker! This place has gone way down hill...we're in the process of moving too :(

In response to ALYJAH24, you are defending the complex for what? Do you work for them?? How can you reply angrily to somone else's opinion when you didn't have the same experience as others. ALYJAH24 states: " ARe the guys outside messing with you...no" So I guess you've been there everytime we've been outside?? I would considers whistling and pointing a form of messing with someone. How can you possibly know what has happened to every person in the complex. You also say that the peeople in the office are very friendly, when our review never says anything about the people in the office. (This leads me to belive that ALYJAH24 is somone who works in the office. As far as not being cheap and paying the $10 for covered parking....news flash..ITS AN INCOME RESTRICTED COMPLEX!!!!! ALYJAH wants us to be careful next time looking for and apt. Actually, we looked at over 13 complexes and hired an apt locater to help us. Country Club Creek was the very last option on the locater's list AND WE HAD A LIMITED TIME TO FIND AND APT! After all the searching we did, CCC was the best in the group and we needed to quickly make a decision, so next time, you should do some research before you decide to tell a stranger what they should or shouldn't do. Yes we gave some bad points about living at Country Club Creek but we didn't completly bash it. As with any place, you shold take other people's opinion in consideration before you decide to make one of your own. I dont think that anyone other than an employee would feel so strongly against what what was written that they had to respond in all caps so show their disagreement. If you love the place so much, then leave a review of your own rather than trying to disprove another person's thoughts.
