I've read all reviews below and I feel the people are over-reacting. The area is not the "best" and they knew that before moving there. The apartments themselves are good though. I moved in to brand new carpet, brand new paint, all together - a nice apartment. RENT IS CHEAP!!! It's the cheapest in ALL of North Austin. Guarantee'd. When you are paying $400 a month for a one bedroom, you must know you are not in Round Rock or somewhere nice like that. The bad thing is that the cars do get broken into. That's just the area though, not the apartments. As far as your laundry getting stolen, why would you leave your laundry in there anyway' If it's that big of a deal, rent a washer and dryer, they all have connections. I mean, these people act like they are in the best part of austin when really they are not and the apartments themselves are good. I've NEVER had a problem with the management and don't foresee anything either. Any maintenance requests made get completed and fast. I like everything about my apartment complex. I knew what I was getting into before I moved and I know the area. I like the place!

i agree with you. RUNDBERG/LAMAR is not a safe area...and you can tell by looking at your surroundings...however, my boyfriend lives there and i have never had ANY problems when i stay over... the neighbors are quiet, i even had one of his spanish speaking neighbors knock on the door to tell me that someone was looking in my car window (it turned out to be a friend) but they look out for eachothers cars... remember no matter where you live, there will always be vehicle & house break ins.
