List of problems:
(1) Office staff is rude. I mean really, really rude. Worse, they are incompetent.
They don't attempt to fix problems around the place (several pot holes litter the apartment complex, some of them for 6 months or more. When it used to rain, you couldn't even tell where the pot holes were)
(2) They have a trash pick up time of Monday/Thursday mornings between 8-9, but the trash is not removed till 1pm or so. Plus, the management levies a fine of $35 per bag if you try and leave trash the previous night or after this time. Good luck trying to prove whose bag was placed there late. I would've paid $25 to see the staff ruffle through a person's trash to figure out which apartment it belonged to.
(3) Whatever you do, GIVE ENOUGH NOTICE THAT YOU ARE MOVING OUT. Any takers on what their minimum time is' 60 days!!! Otherwise, even when your lease is up, you will be slapped with a month to month charge. No negotiations! Of course, you could afford a decent sized house with their month to month charge.
(4) The apartments have severe insect problems: wasps, ants etc. Of course, the staff could care less.
(5) They charge a mandatory cable fee of $35 a month. EVEN IF YOU DON'T WANT IT! The Einsteins who work here can't figure out how to turn off cable to individual apartments. So if you want satellite or don't watch TV, tough luck.
(6) The aforementioned reliable trash service costs $8 per month
(7) Good luck trying to find parking if you don't have an assigned/covered spot or parking garage.

In summary, please save your money and go some where else. The Cunningham is the WORST PLACE I HAVE LIVED AT IN YEARS OF RENTING.

I agree. The management sucks here. This is a colonial property. I'm scared to think what other colonial properties are like.
