My husband and I relocated from Maryland and found this apartment community online. When we called the office for information the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our biggest concern was finding a place with storage space and we wanted an open living room/dining room space. The Cunningham has answered our prayers!! We love the linen closets in both bathrooms, the open living space, and the large windows to let the Texas sunshine in!! And my husband loves the fact that he doesn't have to do any repairs. We just call the office and the maintenance guys come same day.

Thanks for that sales pitch, office crew! I'm a professional copywriter. I know BS when I see it. I'm often "from Maryland" too! What a coincidence! I love that this couple neglected to mention the rampant criminal mischief in this place, slashed tires, and haphazard security. Or the fact that no one here seems to have carpets that actually stick to the floor. Or the doors that stick, or the broken barbeque grill. Guess they forgot to ask for those things in their prayers.

Ok so far I have been here for a couple of years. My lease will be up in 30 days. I am glad that it is almost over. The apartment complex has been taken over by a management who is thinking high dollars. The new name is "The Estates At Shorline" They use have valet trash on Monday and Thursday. The old manager was not bad to me. Not anymore after they came and took over . They politly came in without a warning and said staed in a letter that the rent be raised to a higher amount, that's if you plan on renewing your contract. One bedroom/one bath when I last checked with them is now 708.00. It use to be 535.00 The two bedroom have gone up too. You can pay your rent online but you have to put a deposit down first. The cable is included in your rent they went alittle up on price without telling people about that part. In this day and age when the economy is trying to get back on it's feet slowly these people thought they landed in high dollar city. They have painted the apartments a pink/brown looking color. Alot people who were here moved immedaitely.There are a lot of 2 bedroom apartments here because aot of people who going to renew their lease moved to save money for a little while. They added alot of thing in the in the main office to make it look good to unexpected leasing sucker who will put with them not answering the phone when people call them. I know this because I was in the office and the phones were ringing and there were 5 people in the office. One was tending to a person who was loooking at the apartments to lease , this is undersatndable. The others were talking. I had my sister to go back in the off to ask a question while I tried calling the office phone to see anyone would pick_up. Wow and this is new management. Well if you are planning to move here parking is a little crowded. When you pay your rent they want everything including the water bill at the same time you pay rent,if not they will return it and give you until midnight to pay it if not you will get an eviction notice. Maintance staff plays around on the golf carts they drive around so plaese beware there are idiots on the road. Maintance takes awhile longer now, even though they havea full staff. Please people think seriously about moving here.The apartments are not bad in the inside, but you can hear your nieghbor in the bathroom and also in theirs/your bedrooms.This is the truth so don't say no one told you.
