Top 10 Reasons NOT to Live at Dakota Springs Apartments!!!

1) They tow their own resident's cars!! Just because you have a parking permit and pay rent doesn't mean that your car is safe.
2) Extremely small parking spots because they didn't build enough parking places. Larger cars can not fit in all spots.
3) They do not have any visitor parking spots. So from 10pm to 6am you can't have anyone visit that has their own vehicle.
4) The walls are paper thin. You can hear your neighbors walk from the kitchen to the living room, you can hear your neighbors talking and watching tv, you can hear your neighbors do their laundry and run their bath water. Unless you can live on the top floor I wouldn't suggest this apartment complex.
5) The business center- You can not open an attached file on an email regardless if its a resume or business oriented.
6) The workout equipment is falling apart after 2 years.
7) There is only 1 trash compactor on each side of the multisection apartment complex and it is always overflowing (which is a riskfactor for rodents)!!
8) The leasing office doesn't return phone calls.
9) The manager won't meet with anyone.
10) Overall, they are not advocates for their residents. Dakota Springs doesn't feel like a home.

I lived at Dakota Springs for a year and 100% agree with this poster. These 10 reasons made my decision to start looking elsewhere. The Leasing Office staff is completely unhelpful and unprofessional. Yes, they are faced with a difficult situation in the parking matter but they're going about it in the wrong manner.

I agree to both previous posters. Dakota Springs is a joke of an apartment complex. They advertise luxury apartment living...Spas placed on property illegally so they don't have any yet they advertise them on their website. Trash is always over flowing, compactor breaks down way too often advertise gated security community...gates are always broken. Yes your cars do get towed, fault of management for not giving parking permits to incoming residents, water is NOT metered as advertised so you just might receive an outrageous water bill. Stay as far away from this complex as you can.
