The towing company that the office hires to tow car without permits towed my car last night and the office wont do anything about it. The permit was in clear view, and the office basically said it was my fault and made me feel stupid about it in front of other tenants that were in the office. The rent is unusually high and didnt do my research before i moved in to find that this was true. The apartment is spacious but not very good quality and you can hear EVERYTHING.....everything... that the neighbors are doing.(everything)

overall its a nice place but im NOT renewing my lease. the office staff is not helpful at all

Sorry this happened to you! I wish you had read these reviews before leasing there. The floors/ceilings are ridiculously thin!

I agree that you can hear everything. My neighbors have sex constantly and there isn't anything I can do about it. When I've complained they have pretty much told me there's not anything that can be done because it is just their bed creaking and that is a natural noise. I wish they would put out a notice that people need to be more aware of the times they are having intimacy because it's really disturbing to be woken up at all hours of the nigth to this. HOWEVER, your issue with the being towed thing: I HIGHLY doubt your parking sticker was where it should have been. Was it directly above your registration and inspection stickers? I love it that they tow away people that don't have their parking permits posted either where they should be or not at all, it's hard enough to park as it is.

The apartments are in the same price range if not cheaper then the two located right next to it. This area is a bit more expensive. I get what I pay for between amenities and location. Although the parking does suck it's a little better towards the back where I live. As for the "thin walls", it's an apartment! And it's people like you "the whiner" who make living in them so difficult.

deerfield suck i hate them they moved me into a unit infested with bed bugs and i sued their sorry butts and WON!

we sued them too, and won because we were able to document how many times we had been forced to resorting to calling the property company that manages them: http://www.nals.com/Nevins/Home.asp They are very helpful at overriding the managers and staff at the local level who really could care less when it push comes to shove. They play nice, but have serious customer service downfalls too.
