unless you plan on living here forever, don't rent here bc as soon as you do leave they will charge you for every little thing they can.

I've heard this many times. The approval rating has gone steadily down in the past two years. I'm worried what they will charge me for when I move, there IS a thing called normal wear & tear. It seems the manager cares more about money than in being fair to the tenants. I understand that this is a business, but it involves PEOPLE & unfairly charging people upon move-out is not endearing people to Deerfield. Changes need to be made! I also hear that the manager gets the lion's share of pay while the worker bees get much less. Nice, caring staff have been fired. It looks like just the "yes" men are safe there.
