I actually really liked living here. The location is excellent. Everything is within walking distance or a 30 second drive (HEB, amazing restaurants, 24 HR. Fitness). Management was helpful and when our internet was screwed up for a week or two they discounted our rent for the next month. The pool and courtyards are pleasant as well. Never had any problems or signs of problems with pests or rodents as some others mentioned. Only complaint I have is noise. My apt. was on the 43rd st. side and you can hear every car that drives down Duval (including 18 wheelers delivering food to restaurants at 8 in the morning). Also, the neighbor below me likes to play ------ heavy metal at all hours of the night. Overall though this is a great place for the price and convenience.
