Maybe it will get better...but i doubt it

For starters, the manager that was there for most of our lease was a pain from the beginning. He's not there anymore, so maybe the situation will improve (i doubt it). I was told I was being picky when i wanted some cabinet and door problems fixed (nothing would close correctly). Our A/C leaked heavily for almost a month before they finally fixed it (after numerous patch jobs on an obviously ruined system.) Small problems were pushed aside constantly and took forever to get addressed (which may mean you won't have a place to hang the toilet paper for a week or more). The outlets in the house were/are still loose and plugs constantly fall out (i have to reset my alarm clock constantly). The online maintenance requests were hardly ever checked. The entry gates have not been operational since we moved in last summer which begs the question of why they gave us access cards for which they will charge you if you lose them. The pump system on the gates didn't work either, resulting in the huge metal gate slamming against the brick wall outside my bedroom at least 5 times a night. People parked in my paid covered space several times late at night and were never towed even after numerous telephone calls. I could go on and on. Nothing the in the apartments is new or updated (ugly appliances, cabinetry, etc) You will pay dearly for the neighborhood because that's the only perk of living in these raunchy apartments. Even though I desperately want to stay in the neighborhood, I feel like I'm living in a tenement. I can't wait to leave next month.
