I am a current resident and my husband and I have lived here over a year. We renewed our lease early but had we waited to see what happened we would have ran for the hills. Somewhere in late summer the complex was sold. Same management company but it is like living in a different complex. Before it was old but really clean, low tech but safe, a little pricey but nice (including the staff). Since about July it has been a very fast march down hill. What was good is now bad. Landscaping is disgusting. ONE maintenance guy for 300 units so he does his best but he can't do it all himself. The pool has been unswimable since about August (now it is green and smells). They were "shopping landscaping vendors" and during the time the grass got about a foot high. It took two weeks to get our AC fixed and then when we complained the complex manager had no "record" of the request. Previously we could make a request and have it done in 24-48 hours even on the weekend. Now they need it in writing or it never existed. I think they are just stretched too thin. The entrance sign got hit and is leaning over and has been for a month. Just kinda tacky. I have lived in apartments for 10 years in over 6 different complexes and this is only second to my horrible place in undergrad 10 years ago.
I plan on doing an update to see if my requests for repairs get resolved. So far no hope. We are going to look at our lease and see how much it costs to break it. It may be worth it.

I agree! i signed a lease to live here back in January and the complex looked great. Now the management office is really rude, there are cockroaches everywhere, and everything is really disorganized. I also heard talks of them raising the lease for next year, which is ridiculous considering they just rented someone an apartment for only 860 a month since they are desperate.
